Calories is a unit of measurement, they are not physical things like fat and oils. calories are used to measure the amount of energy a food has, in the form of oil. 1 calorie is how much energy you need to get 1gr. of water to increase in temperature by 1 degree centigrade
ps, i have a question for YOU- why does bottled water have an expiration date?

and bottled water has an expiry date coz it can go stale and the plastic bottle has chemicals that gets absorbed by the water over a long period of time or by sun exposure and it changes the flavour of the water or makes it less fresh. also the bacteria in the water can multiply if kept in a plastic bottle.
